Assessment

We believe that mistakes in language acquisition are not signs of incorrect learning but indicators of your current stage in the learning process. Our goal with assessments is to provide constructive feedback that raises your awareness and supports your progress. These assessments are in addition to the weekly assignments, and you will receive feedback on your results.

The assessment schedule is as follows:

  • Week 2: Speaking Assessment – Students submit voice recordings based on the given instructions.
  • Week 4: Listening Assessment – Students answer questions based on an audio text.
  • Week 6: Reading Assessment – Students respond to questions about a reading passage.
  • Week 8: Writing Assessment – Students complete a writing task on a given topic.
  • Week 10: Dictation – Students transcribe a spoken text into writing and also read a written text aloud.
  • Week 12: Comprehensive Assessment – An assessment covering all four skills (speaking, listening, reading, and writing).
